VI. Adding Pages, Files, Pictures and Widgets

Adding pages is easy. Click on "Edit Navigation" Then delete " Page List" Type in a name for a new page. Highlight the page name. Click on the Link icon and click "add link".
Pictures: Click on the green icon with the red dot to upload pictures and other files.
Widgets: Click on the blue screen TV icon to add a map like the one pictured below. You can also add video, audio and more.

VI.Assignment for April 26, 2010

Create a wiki for your classroom with the following:
  1. Homepage
  2. About Me
  3. Content Area Resources or Unit/Lesson page which includes 5 Best Practices Educational Links
  4. Parent Page ( include a table in this page)
  5. Link to your blog in your navigation list
  6. 3 appropriate copyright free images
  7. 1 uploaded file such as Word or PowerPoint.
  8. 1 video
  9. 1 map
  10. Create a PDF file out of one of your wiki pages, print it and bring it to class.
